Elementary Math Tutoring (K-6)

What We Focus On

Our tutoring sessions are designed to build a strong foundation in essential math skills across all grade levels:

• Kindergarten: Counting, number recognition, basic shapes, patterns, and introductory addition and subtraction.

• 1st Grade: Place value, addition and subtraction fluency, telling time, basic word problems, and simple geometry.

• 2nd Grade: Multi-digit addition and subtraction, introduction to multiplication and division, measurement, and data interpretation (charts and graphs).

• 3rd Grade: Multiplication and division fluency, fractions, area and perimeter, and problem-solving strategies.

• 4th Grade: Multi-digit multiplication and division, decimals, fractions (comparison, addition, and subtraction), and geometry (angles, lines, and symmetry).

• 5th Grade: Advanced fractions, decimals, volume, coordinate planes, and introductory algebra concepts.

• 6th Grade: Ratios, percentages, advanced geometry, data analysis, and deeper exploration of pre-algebra concepts.
